Advice to Management
Business development (SBV) management team is a hot mess. There are so many inconsistencies between regions in how they are managed and how client deals evolve. There is zero camaraderie, little trust and terrible communication; this should be addressed from the top down.
Further, many properties around the US owned by Simon are aging buildings; upkeep is extensive and maintenance team head counts and budgets continue to drop, making it more difficult to manage repairs. (Example: intermittent mobile signals in the Mgmt office; aged WiFi backbone thru property; countless repairs needing to be made or systems needing upgraded)
Meanwhile, the company forged ahead with acquisitions domestically & internationally while their existing properties suffer. Recommend pulling back on expansion to allow more corporate funds to flow toward upgrading existing facilities.
