Many of the important decisions that affect the field are made by those who do not understand and apparently don't care what happens at the local level.
Advice to Management
Work to keep good lines of communication open with the field. Work with local properties to do what is best for individual properties whether they are mega malls or small local malls.

Explains the FAILED POLICY of Following/Harassment of minorities at SPG malls:
weeding out *perceived* undesirables (blacks, Latinos, casually dressed mall go-ers, etc)
towards a high-end mall look.

The abusive profiling/discrimination by Mall Security, of mall go-ers has BACK FIRED
