From current SPG employee (IT Tech, 8 yrs), poor Communication in Management:
Very poor communication from the company in general and from mid-level managers. My manager never gets our team together to communicate is yearly objectives (how can I help him if I don' t know what he's on the hook for?) and to help build teamwork among his team. The only way I know what others are working on is via small talk or if we 're working on the same project.
Advice to Management
Trust your employees - or replace them if you can't. Communicate. Build teamwork.
